Won Kim

Won Kim, Ph.D. is a Moderator of Process Designed Training workshops on emotional and social  competence and Chair of the Habit Education and Support Team for The Liautaud Institute. He also has experience in instructional design, training, faculty development, and leadership development. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his master’s degree in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania. After two-and-a-half years working in graduate admissions, Dr. Kim transitioned to a role in faculty development, specializing in adjunct faculty affairs and faculty training.  In that role, he developed and facilitated various faculty training programs such as orientations, and coached professors on improving their teaching practice. Since completing his Ph.D. in organizational leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Kim has taught several online and face-to-face courses including diversity, organizational design and culture, leadership, emotional intelligence, and training courses. Currently, Dr. Kim is an instructional designer with a graduate certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.  In addition, he serves as Community Groups Director at New Community Covenant Church-Bronzeville on the South Side of Chicago where he oversees small group Bible studies and coaches and develops group leaders.
