Master of Divinity and Social Service Administraton,

Pursing a PhD in Business Psychology

Angela Swain

Angela Hilbring Swain earned a dual Master of Divinity and a Master of Social Service Administration degree from Catholic Theological Union and The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration in 2005 and 2007, respectively. She earned a Master of Business Administration from St. Xavier University in 2013. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her dissertation topic, Interpersonal Schemas and Intragroup Conflict, explores the correlation between people perception and team member schema similarity. She has been awarded numerous awards for academic achievement and is a member of various organizations, including the National Organization of Social Workers (NASW) and Delta Mu Delta Honor Society.

 

Angela has extensive clinical experience in Pastoral Care and Counseling and Human Resource (HR) Management. Her counseling areas of expertise are: Family Support, Human Development, and Urban Adolescents. As a researcher and business consultant, Angela has focused on conflict resolution in organizations in the education, hospital, and food and beverage industries.

 

Angela joined the Liautaud Institute in 2014 and is certified in Process Designed Training. As a moderator, she desires to help create an environment that fosters trust to help facilitate team cohesion.
